Integrating her experience in Mindfulness and Meditation with current research and her previous training has been Margrit's main clinical focus over the past 15 years. Her previous training includes treatment of family of origin issues, relational difficulties, trauma, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. She  draws from a variety of disciplines, which include psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy, inner child work and attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive therapy, and play therapy for children. Margrit also recently completed her level 1 training in Internal Family Systems Therapy. One of her main goals is to empower people to participate actively in their own healing process, through self exploration and the development of mindfulness skills. Many of her clients report significant diminishing of symptoms, strengthening of relational skills, building resilience, and developing healthy coping strategies. To go beyond treatment of symptoms and help her clients to make lasting changes in their lives has been her mission. Margrit has 40 years of clinical experience and has been in private practice in Arlington, MA for the past 15  years. She see adults, couples, children and families.
